Michael Lane, P.E., has been promoted to Director of Global Project Delivery at Stanley Consultants. He and his team will focus on improving collaboration with project partners, maximizing operational efficiency, standardizing practices across offices, and managing operational risks. Lane will have oversight of engineering and project management standards, project controls, health and safety programs, and professional relations.
Lane, who joined Stanley Consultants in 2004, has over 20 years of engineering and project management experience in power generation, industrial facility, and campus infrastructure design. He is a licensed professional engineer in six states with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a master’s degree in telecommunications, and a Project Management Professional Certification.
In a parallel career, Lane is a Major with the Colorado Army National Guard and is currently serving as an auxiliary staff officer at USNORTHCOM in Colorado Springs. He is a decorated veteran of Operational Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and served in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Lane continues to manage design projects both domestically and internationally, and is a member of the Pikes Peak Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
