Stanley Consultants receives 2015 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Utilization Award

Ranked among the country’s largest consulting engineering firms, Stanley Consultants provides program management, planning, engineering, environmental, and construction services worldwide. The firm has Florida offices in West Palm Beach, Miami, Sarasota, and Tampa.

Nearly 7,000 Florida employees and their families earn their livelihood through small and disadvantaged businesses doing work with the Department of Transportation (FDOT). Each year, FICE recognizes the prime consulting firm that has made the most significant use of DBE sub-consulting partners, to assist the Department of Transportation in achieving its DBE goals.

Stanley Consultants partnered with DBE firms for 35.6 percent of its FDOT work, representing revenues to DBE firms of over $850,000. “Stanley Consultants is clearly sharing its success by supporting and teaming with small and disadvantaged businesses,” said FICE Transportation Committee member Nina Sickler, P.E., during her presentation of the award to John Downes, Global Transportation Market Leader for Stanley Consultants.

Stanley Consultants, ranked in country’s top 50 transportation firms, been providing services to the Department of Transportation for 30 years. A few of the company’s high profile Florida transportation projects include the Golden Gate Parkway in Naples, the Pinellas Bayway Bridge, and Lake Worth roundabout.
