Stanley Consultants Charitable Foundation
Donates $100,000 for Flooding Relief
MUSCATINE, Iowa - The Stanley Consultants Charitable Foundation has pledged a $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with flood relief operations throughout Iowa.
"Our hearts go out to the thousands affected by this disaster," said Stanley Consultants’ President Gayle Roberts. "As individuals and as an organization we are seeking ways to help those in need. In the weeks and months ahead, Stanley Consultants will assist with rebuilding efforts but the immediate need is for emergency funds. We hope that this donation, and others like it, will make a difference."
The floods of 2008 have affected nearly everyone in Iowa. More than 80 of the state’s 99 counties have been declared disaster areas. "Stanley Consultants has a strong base in Iowa with offices in Muscatine, Des Moines, and Iowa City. Virtually all of our Iowa employees and clients have been affected by the flooding," said Roberts.
The Stanley Consultants Charitable Foundation, established in 1982, is a non-profit organization funded by Stanley Consultants. The Foundation provides an avenue for Stanley Consultants to live up to one of its Core Values: "We take seriously our responsibilities to the profession we practice, to public health, safety and welfare; and to the communities where we live and work."
