Stanley Consultants’ Gayle Roberts Wins Two Awards

Muscatine, Iowa - Gayle Roberts, President of Stanley Consultants, is the recent recipient of two awards.

Roberts was awarded the Iowa Women’s Foundation 50% Solution Award, which was created in 2006 to recognize exceptional contributions made to advance women and girls throughout the state of Iowa. She also won the Large Company Innovation and Leadership category of the 2008 Iowa Women of Innovation Award. Sponsored by the Technology Association of Iowa, the Iowa Women of Innovation awards elevate and celebrate today’s extraordinary women and recognizes those who are innovators, role models, and leaders in technology, science, and engineering.

Reigning as the nation’s only female president of a large international engineering firm, Robert’s advice to other women remains simple, "Have confidence in yourself and your abilities. Take charge of your career by seeking opportunity; don’t wait for them to come to you. The glass ceiling is a myth."
