Stanley Consultants Announces Office Move
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Stanley Consultants has moved its Salt Lake City office to a larger location to make room for its growing workforce. The new office at 383 West Vine Street is located in the center of the Salt Lake Valley in the Steven Henagar Building, just off of 5100 South and I-15.
With 17,000 square feet of office space, the new office provides ample room for employee work areas, conference rooms and future staff expansion. The additional space also allows Stanley Consultants to make its conference rooms available to industry related non-profit organizations for board or committee meetings.
Stanley Consultants provides engineering, environmental and construction services worldwide. The local office opened in 1996 with three employees that provided transportation services. Since then the workforce has quadrupled in size to nearly 80 employees that provide multi-discipline services in civil engineering, design-build engineering, program and construction management, transportation engineering and advanced traffic management systems, water/wastewater engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, GIS and surveying.
The staff growth can largely be attributed to consistent work from the Utah Department of Transportation, the City and County of Salt Lake City, Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD), Wadsworth Brothers Construction, Ames Construction, and WW Clyde.
The office recently won several awards for its work on the Lambs Canyon and Mountain Delle accelerated bridge projects. A few projects currently under way include construction services and materials testing for I-80; State Street to 1300 East, 114th South; State Street to Bangerter; new I-15 Interchange, Pioneer Crossing and US-89 in Kanab; program management on 11400 South and I-15 7200 S. to 9000 S.; design services on the Lake Powell pipeline alignment study and a pump station for the JVWCD.
Stanley Consultants is a corporate member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, American Public Works Association, American Council of Engineering Consultants, Institute of Transportation Engineers, the American Water/Wastewater Association, and the National Water Resources Association.
