Stanley Consultants Announces New Discipline Chiefs

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Stanley Consultants, Inc., is proud to announce appointments to the company’s technical organization. Marc Elliott, Jeff Gambrall, and Debashis Sarkar have each been appointed a discipline chief. Chiefs provide technical leadership for their engineering/architectural discipline in quality control and assurance, training, procedures and standards, and member development.

Marc Elliott, vice president and manager of the Muscatine Operations Group, Education Healthcare and Industry Business, was appointed chief mechanical engineer. He was previously assigned as associate chief mechanical engineer. Elliott received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University in 1978. He is a licensed professional engineer in 11 states and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Iowa Engineering Society, and The National Society of Professional Engineers. Jeff Gambrall, manager of the Control Systems Department, Muscatine Operations Group, Education, Healthcare and Industry Business, was appointed chief control systems engineer. Gambrall received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa in 1991. He is a licensed professional engineer in 13 states and is a senior member of the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society.

Debashis Sarkar, senior architect, Architecture Department, Muscatine Operations Group, was appointed chief architect. Sarkar earned his bachelor of architecture degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1980, and a master of architecture degree from Morgan State University in 1987. He is a registered architect in six states and is a member of the American Institute of Architecture and the Institute of Architects, Bangladesh.

As discipline chiefs, they will have a wide range of responsibilities for engineers within their respective disciplines. A few of these include working with management to recommend and implement marketing and business development plans for the discipline; providing technical leadership and quality assurance; managing professional training programs; providing approved discipline standards, policies, procedures, and methods; and attending marketing related events.
