The Illinois State University, South Campus project earned a Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois in the Energy Category.
Stanley Consultants provided the engineering study, design, construction, and commissioning services for a new state-of-the-art co-generation plant at the University's South Campus. This three-phase project addresses immediate needs and expansion considerations for future load requirements.
The Plant has an ultimate capacity of 5,000 tons and an initial capacity of 2,000 tons using two 1,000-ton electric motor-driven centrifugal chillers.
