VA Medical Center Boiler Plant Upgrades

Stanley Consultants completed a study of the central heating plant including cost estimates and life cycle cost analysis of the options provided for renovation and upgrade of the boiler systems for the Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa.

Upon completion of this study, Stanley Consultants provided design and construction services for the replacement of three gas-fired 20,000-pound boilers and auxiliary systems including, condensate receiver, fuel oil pumps, water treatment equipment, and balance-of-plant control system upgrade.
