Earth Day 2017

The recovery of the bald eagle is an encouraging example of changing the human environment in favor of our vulnerable co-habitants. Long our country's majestic symbol of freedom, the bald eagle was placed on the Endangered Species list when it faced a critical population decline in the mid-20th century. Pesticide bans triggered a massive resurgence over the next two decades; subsequently, the bald eagle was removed from the endangered list in 1995 and from the threatened list in 2007.

By respecting the Earth and its inhabitants, we ensure a healthy world for future generations.
