About the Project
Setting the standard for base design
The 88th Readiness Division of the U.S. Army called on Stanley Consultants to develop an installation design guide for its 19-state region that covers the Midwest and Northwestern United States. The 88th is headquartered at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, and supports an organization of more than 46,500 Army Reserve soldiers, 2,594 active guard and reserves and 2,524 civilians at 277 sites and 579 facilities. It also supports 12 local training areas across 11 states. The division’s host states range from Ohio to Minnesota to Washington.
The purpose of the manual is to provide a framework for standardizing and improving the quality of the total environment of the 88th Readiness Division’s virtual installation and span of operations. Ultimately the guide prepared by Stanley Consultants helps the 88th RD carry out its Army mission, efficiently perform operations, conduct field training activities and effectively plan and program for future facility improvements.
