2019 Stanley Consultants Scholarship Recipients

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Each year Stanley Consultants awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are dependents of employees at all office locations throughout the country. This year scholarships have been awarded to Maren Thompson, Sarah Schoer, Brayden Hoffman, Lorena Payne, and Megan Daubenberger.

Maren Thompson, the daughter of Tiffany and Tom Thompson, graduated from Forest Lake Area High School in Forest Lake MN. She plans to attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and major in architecture. Tom, is a Water Resources Department Manager, joined firm in 2008.

Sarah Schoer, the daughter of Traci and Brian Schoer, is a graduate of Muscatine High School. Sarah plans to major in elementary education at the University of Northern Iowa. Brian, a distribution group manager, joined Stanley Consultants in 1991.

Brayden Hoffman, the son of Beth and Bill Hoffman, is a graduate of Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, Arizona.  Brayden is majoring in International Business at Northern Arizona University. Bill joined Stanley Consultants as a transportation consultant in 2000.

Lorena Payne, the daughter of Ann Gallegos and Thomas Payne, graduated from D’Evelyn High School in Denver, Colorado.  She plans to pursue a business degree at the University of Colorado Boulder.  Thomas is the Manager, Shareholder Services with Stanley Consultants. He joined the firm in 2018.

Megan Daubenberger, the daughter of Heather and Brad Daubenberger, is a graduate of Benilde St. Margaret’s High School in St. Louis Park, MN.  She plans to major in biomedical engineering at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.  Brad is a senior project manager who joined Stanley Consultants in 2013.

Selection is based on scholarship, character, financial need, leadership qualities, meaningful extracurricular activities, and academics.  The $2,000 scholarships may be used for tuition and books at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university and are renewable for a second year based upon satisfactory academic standing.
