Community Engagement
At Stanley Consultants, our commitment to community engagement is deeply rooted in our mission to engineer a sustainable, connected and enriched world for all. For over 110 years, we’ve focused on improving lives through our work – from the projects we deliver to the community organizations we support.
Improving Lives Since 1913
We take our responsibilities as good community stewards seriously, to the professions we practice, to public health, safety, and welfare; to the communities where we live and work; and to our team members. This commitment is a way of life at Stanley, reflected through direct action and sustained investment.
Stanley Consultants Charitable Foundation
Established in 1982 and funded by two percent of pre-tax annual profits, the Stanley Consultants Charitable Foundation (SCCF) is central to our commitment to community service and social responsibility. Since then, it has donated over $3.25 million to nonprofits supporting our communities, including scholarships, charitable giving, and strategic partnerships aligned with our mission.
Engineers Without Borders
Our commitment to global development is reflected in our Silver Sponsorship of Engineers Without Borders (EWB), empowering employees to volunteer their expertise on international humanitarian engineering projects. Stanley also provides technology and resources—including CAD tools, scanning equipment, videoconferencing and secure storage—to help deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions to communities in need.
Local Impact, National Reach
Stanley employees are actively encouraged to support their communities. We proudly recognize and celebrate these efforts. From coast to coast, our team is involved in countless community efforts, including United Way chapters across the country, food banks, The American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Homes for Our Troops and school volunteer programs.
Supporting the Engineering Community
We actively support the engineering community through our involvement in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF), among other professional organizations.Community Engagement Highlights
