The Stanley Consultants Internship Program gives students valuable work experience, professional connections and exposure to real-world engineering and consulting projects. Our paid internships typically last 8 to 12 weeks and are designed to connect classroom learning with practical project work.
Internship opportunities span engineering disciplines including civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical and more. Interns may be assigned to transportation, energy, water or federal project teams in offices across the U.S., giving them direct exposure to the type of work Stanley delivers for clients and communities.
For many students, an internship is the first step toward a long-term career with Stanley Consultants, with 90% of interns receiving full-time job offers after completing the program.

Real Project Experience
Interns contribute to real projects, visit project sites and learn how engineers from different disciplines collaborate to solve client challenges. Through this experience, interns gain exposure to engineering and begin building the skills, behaviors and technical knowledge needed for future career success.

Annual Intern Celebration
Stanley brings interns together for an annual celebration that recognizes their contributions throughout the summer and provides opportunities to connect with peers and company leaders.
The multi-day event gives interns a chance to learn more about Stanley and build relationships with employees from offices across the country. Interns participate in team building and community service activities, hear from the leadership team and reflect on the experiences and accomplishments that shaped their summer.
