Elgin O'Hare Western Access Interchange

Stanley Consultants designed a four-level system interchange connecting Illinois Route 390 with Interstate 490 with future connections to the west side of O’Hare International Airport. The interchange design had multiple high-speed, high-capacity ramps and flyovers, a new roadway, new retaining walls and culverts, extensive earthwork and soils treatment, traffic signals, signing, lighting, intelligent transportation systems and tolling, utility relocation and traffic control.
