About the Project

Delivering Quality Assurance and Optimized Performance for the Texas Facilities Commission

Stanley Consultants provided comprehensive building commissioning services spanning the pre-design, design, construction and post-construction/warranty phases at the Dr. Bob Glaze Laboratory (DBGL), the supporting Central Plant (DHNP) and the Chemical Storage Building (DHH).

Through this quality assurance process, we established, verified and documented the performance of new building systems to drive down operational costs across the following projects:

  • Replacing the controls system, supply terminals and exhaust terminals at DBGL.
  • Replacing the rooftop Air Handling Units (AHUs), Laboratory Exhaust Units (LEUs), and controls at DBGL.
  • Installing a new generator set to supply all power needs for DBGL and the Department of Health New Plant (DHNP).
  • Expanding the DHNP facility and replacing major equipment (chillers, cooling towers, hydronic pumps, boilers and electrical gear).
  • Designing and improving systems for Department of Health Building H (DHH), the chemical storage building.
