I-4 Ultimate Wrong Way Driving Deterrent

Stanley Consultants designed wrong-way detection systems for 43 interstate ramps along Interstate-4 in Orlando. The detection systems were designed to complement the I-4 “Ultimate” program, adding safety features to all the ramps. These enhancements followed a serious crash caused by a wrong-way driver entering the express lanes. Following the crash, our team expedited the design for interchanges with direct express lane connections, including the location where the incident originated.
