Toquerville Parkway

The Toquerville Parkway is a 4.5-mile corridor located on the west side of the City of Toquerville. Built to support long-term growth and improve mobility, the Parkway runs parallel to state Route 17 and offers a critical alternative for traffic impacted by increasing tourism to Zion National Park and surrounding recreational areas. The new corridor also opened opportunities for residential and commercial development. Following its completion, the City and the State completed a jurisdictional transfer, officially replacing the existing segment of SR-17 with the newly constructed Parkway. The transfer shifted maintenance and operational responsibility from the State to the City of Toquerville, allowing for local control and more responsive planning and maintenance.

Stanley Consultants' construction management team performed construction inspection and documentation services, verified work against engineering drawings and specifications, and tracked progress based on the bid schedule and as-built quantities.

Our team utilized unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to map and calculate volumes of stockpiled material. This innovative approach delivered speed and accuracy while reducing costs. Contract administration, billing and close coordination with the client’s project manager helped support efficient project delivery.
