Air Defense Site

The government of Saudi Arabia has a military installation located along valuable waterfront property within the city limits of Jeddah. The property was rezoned for development to help boost the economy. Stanley Consultants was tasked with helping Saudi Arabia plan the relocation of this entire base inland at a vacant property and thoughtfully plan the future of the base.

Stanley Consultants developed a comprehensive plan for a new base on a site spanning 2,175 acres. In response to different demands and expectations by four different military divisions, the submitted master plan overcame difficult terrain and limited space to incorporate features such as a defense institute, supply and maintenance operations, housing, support services and administration buildings, as well as a professional soccer stadium and numerous mosques that need to be within walking distance of base residents and visitors. Planning the location of these support facilities is one of many recent examples of Stanley Consultants addressing master planning challenges for our diverse clientele.
