Roberts Inducted Into the ISU Chemical & Biological Hall of Fame

Gayle Roberts, P.E., President and CEO of Stanley Consultants, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Iowa State University Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE). Roberts is a 1981 ISU graduate with a degree in chemical engineering.

The CBE Hall of Fame was established in 2013 to commemorate the department’s centennial year and to recognize the school’s most successful alumni. This prestigious induction acknowledges the impact these alumni have had on their professions and ISU. Less than one-half of one percent of the department’s 600 alumni have been inducted.

“We are delighted to induct Gayle into the Chemical and Biological Engineering Hall of Fame and have her join this most distinguished group of alumni,” said Andrew C. Hillier,  Professor and Reginald R. Baxter Endowed Department Chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. “She is an outstanding example and role model for our students, particularly women in engineering. We couldn’t be happier to call her one of our own, and to recognize her impact on our students and profession.”
