APWA Iowa Honors Cedar Rapids Flood Mitigation Project

The Sinclair Levee, part of the Eastside Cedar Rapids Flood Mitigation System, won the 2019 American Public Works Association Iowa Chapter’s environmental project of the year award for projects greater than $2.5 million. It was awarded at the Organization's fall conference in Des Moines.

Morton Grove Niles Water Project Wins ASCE Illinois Outstanding Achievement Award

A Stanley Consultants-led project won the Illinois American Society of Civil Engineers Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement award for the design, permitting and construction supervision of the Morton Grove-Niles Water Commission project in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The award was presented Oct. 2 by the ASCE Illinois Section.

Thomopulos Inducted into Nigerian Academy of Engineering

Gregs Thomopulos, P.E., Chair Emeritus of Stanley Consultants, has been inducted as a Fellow into the Nigerian Academy of Engineering. Established in 1997, the academy is a national “Think Tank” for engineering and technology that provides leadership in national engineering and technological issues.

Stanley Consultants Awarded $284 Million in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracts

Stanley Consultants has recently been awarded several Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) with a total program capacity of $284 million. IDIQ contracts provide for an indefinite quantity of services for a fixed time.

Stanley Consultants to Provide Design for Michigan State University Power Plant Modernization

Christman is partnering with Stanley Consultants as the Engineer of Record and Wärtsilä North America as provider of the RICE equipment. The team will deliver the project on a 20-month schedule that began in March, 2019 and wraps up by the end of 2020.

Kevin Chafin Joins Stanley Consultants as Federal Client Service Manager

January 13, 2014 | TAMUNING, Guam – When Governor Calvo announced the creation of Operation Guam Cares to bring aide to the people of the Philippines devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan, members of Stanley Consultants’ Guam Office decided to help.
