Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners Announced

Each year Stanley Consultants awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are dependents of employees at all office locations throughout the country. The company is proud to announce that the scholarships have been awarded to James Kennedy, Abrianna Knaus, Alyson Martens, Naomi Reyes, and Emily Schoer. 

Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners AnnouncedJames Kennedy, son of Jean and Peter Kennedy, is a graduate of Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.  He will study engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.   Jean is a senior administrative assistant in Stanley Consultants’ Chicago office, and has been with the company since 2008.

Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners AnnouncedAbrianna Knaus, daughter of Tim and Nancy Knaus, is a graduate of Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois.  She plans to become a pediatric doctor and will attend the University of Iowa on a premed program.  Tim is the CADD/Graphics Department Manager in Stanley Consultants’ Chicago Office, and has been with the company since1990.

Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners AnnouncedAlyson Martens, daughter of Dawn Martens, is a graduate of Wapello High School.   Alyson plans to attend Central College in Pella and major in actuarial science.  Dawn is an accounting associate in Stanley Consultants’ Muscatine Office, and has been with the company since 2009.

Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners AnnouncedNaomi Reyes, daughter of Leandro and Anna Marie Reyes, is a graduate of Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Naomi plans to major in biochemistry at Arizona State University.   Leandro, a senior designer in the company’s Phoenix Office, has been with the company since 1996.

Stanley Consultants Scholarship Winners AnnouncedEmily Schoer, daughter of Brian and Traci Schoer, is a graduate of Muscatine High School.  Emily plans to attend the University of Iowa and major in nursing.  Brian is the senior group manager of substations and distribution east in Stanley Consultants’ Muscatine Office, and has been with the company since 1990.

Scholarship selection is based on scholarship, character, financial need, leadership qualities, meaningful extracurricular activities and academics.  The $2,000 scholarships may be used for tuition and books at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university and are renewable for a second year based upon satisfactory academic standing.
