His more than 25 years of experience is composed of a unique combination of product, project management, sales, and environmental experience that make him well suited to serve energy clients. He began his career with UK-based GEC, traveling the world installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting a wide range of power generation equipment. “When I transitioned into sales this wealth of product knowledge really helped me to better understand and evaluate client needs and help formulate solutions,” said Holton. In 1995 he moved to Texas to open and establish ALSTOM’s Motor and Generator Houston office.

In 2007, he relocated to Austin to become Director of Business Development at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America. Holton comes to Stanley Consultants from AECOM, where he served as Vice President of Business Development at Advatech, a joint venture of AECOM and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.

“Steve has an ideal background for power delivery and power generation business development,” said Steve Schebler, Stanley Consultants Energy Business Leader. “He has a strong technical background which allows him to reach a complete understanding of clients' needs and potential solutions.”

A transplanted Texan, Holton originally hails from a small town in the middle of England called Lutterworth.
