Powell Joins Stanley Consultants as Manager of Organizational Development

Thom Powell.jpgThom Powell, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has joined Stanley Consultants as Manager of Organizational Development.  In this position, Powell will plan, direct, and coordinate the firm’s organizational development activities to maximize employee development, engagement, and organization effectiveness.  Stanley Consultants is a global consulting engineering firm with 1,000 employees in 30 offices worldwide.

Powell has 35 years of experience in human resources management and development.  He has been an active member of the senior management teams for five major organizations, working with leaders to develop and implement aligned and integrated human resources practices, and has led organizational development teams at ADP, Meredith Corporation, and ACT, Inc.

Powell has a masters degree in management science and bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.  He has earned multiple certifications including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
