Pach Joins Stanley Consultants as Project Manager

AUSTIN, Texas – Tim Pach has joined Stanley Consultants as a project manager in the firm’s Austin Office. Assigned to the U.S. Federal and International Group, his focus is on Department of Defense projects worldwide, primarily the Air Force and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).  Stanley Consultants is a consulting engineering firm that provides program management, master planning, engineering, environmental and construction management services worldwide. 

Pach’s professional engineering experience comes from the U.S. military, where he served as a Major in the Air Force.  His most recent assignment was as assistant professor of civil engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he taught civil engineering principles and practices to over 600 students. 

During his 10 years with the USAF, missions also took him to Anchorage, Alaska, where he served as project manager supporting the facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization of 15 early warning radar sites.  He also coordinated reconstruction efforts and the drawdown of U.S. Forces while serving in southwest Asia.  As a lead emergency management officer in Idaho, he managed 30 plans and a team of 16 personnel to train 4,000 personnel in how to prepare the base to deal with natural and manmade disasters.  In Abu Dhabi, he served as O&M Manager, guiding a team of 150 personnel in the maintenance and improvement of military base infrastructure. 

Pach is a licensed professional engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.  He received a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas-Austin, and also has a master’s degree in business administration.

While based at the U.S. Air Force Academy, he served on the board of the Pike’s Peak Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).  During this time, he received two prestigious awards, the Rocky Mountain Region Vice President’s Medal for outstanding contribution to the region’s mission; and the National Bliss Medal in recognition of superior efforts in mentoring students in engineering and related disciplines.   He plans to continue his SAME involvement with the San Antonio Post.  He is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
